ON TODAY'S SHOW

Welcome to Episode #061. Tonight we are going to talk about finishes for computer desks and project plans, whether to offer them or not. We are joined tonight by our guest host Shane Wright.

Jeremy - Finally have all the electrical done in the shop. Now it is time to start organizing.

Shane - I'm building another mountain man bird house for a friend

TOPIC

Do you find woodworking plans beneficial?

KICKBACK

  • Drew - I listen to a lot of podcasts and I have to say Todd is a freaking natural. I’m not sure if he's available long term, but if so, he would make an awesome third co-host.
  • Lemongrovewoodgnome - This was a very informative episode. I am a Freud guy, and was in the market for a 40t blade. Instead of purchasing another Freud blade, I went ahead and purchased the CMT 40t blade (214.040.10) that was mentioned in the show. Can’t wait to test it out.
  • Hey, Jeremy. Wanted to touch base with you regarding some of your comments on your podcast. First let me welcome you to SC. You may not remember a couple episodes I commented on a podcast and you all made fun of my nick name....TeeQueTwo (Golf, Que Ball and my dad is how i came up with this nickname. I know go by TeeQue)

Anyway, I digress. I live up here in Columbia SC and wanted to let you know there is a store called Mann Tool. They are on I26 and Chris Drive. They have lots of turning supplies, inventory of lumber from blanks, flat and natural edge along with other things you need for your shop. I would like to invite you up this weekend if you are available this Saturday November 5th. We have Carl Jacobson coming to our turning club and would like to have you as a guest. You then can see the store too.

Also, regarding your domino I am interested in purchasing for my upcoming 2 table build and barn door build. I have been looking at them for this build but cannot fathom paying full price if i could find one used.

  • Brian McCauley - Just listened to a recent episode. Don't spend the cash on DMT plates for the ES3000. This works amazingly well. http://www.mccauleysdesign.com/diy-diamond-discs-for-worksharp-ws3000
