Disclaimer

Most links you find on this website are affiliate links (affiliate links are links to a company's website that I am connected with). The most common links you will find are from Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. An affiliate program is designed for websites to earn advertising fees for linking ads to a website such as Amazon. Those funds are paid directly to me from the company who owns the ads. Meaning if you go to that website and purchase something (anything, doesn't have to be what the ad was for) then I will get a certain percentage of the sale. I DO NOT see what you purchased, how you purchased it, your contact information, or credit card information. I don't even see who purchased something, I do not see anything pertaining to the sale. I do not have any say in what they advertise besides getting a list of things I can choose from to put on my website.

The other common type of ad you will see is from Google Adsense. The ads you see from Google are targeted directly at you based off of your browsing history. Again, I see nothing. I just put the code on my website and google does the rest. I accept no liability to what your ads display as I had no influence on your computer's browsing history. I get paid based on you clicking the ads (no purchase necessary).

You will see some sponsorships throughout the website such as Audible, Osborne Wood Products, General Finishes, or Easy Wood Tools. These companies either pay me directly for advertising for them or they including their products in my videos and articles. You will only see sponsorships from companies that I hand select and pursue based their products. If I like their products and I use them then I want to support them. You will not see a sponsor for a company in which I do not believe in their products or the morals of their company do not line up with mine. Sponsorships are critical as they frequently send us products that are used on the show or in the website. Without these companies' sponsorships I would not be able to deliver you the best content possible.

We do receive products for free from time to time to give our honest feedback on them. These "product reviews" come in the form of quick videos or written articles.  These reviews are the honest opinion of myself, Jeremy Crawford, and not coerced by the company sending the product. I generally do not post a review in a public forum if it is extremely negative, I give that feedback to the company, but will not hide how I feel about it and will share my opinion if asked. As a VERY small company we do not have the resources to buy all the latest and greatest gadgets for the shop, so I will reach out to a few companies from time to time to review a product. However, the goal of this website is and will alway remain a place for education and for my customers to visit.

The articles you find on this website are written by me and occasionally a guest blogger, in which case it will be made known that it is from a guest. If the content is not a good fit for my brand it will not be posted on this website.

Safety is the most important thing in the shop. You will see me waive some safety precautions from time to time in order for me to show you a certain technique. It is your responsibility to make sure you are using all the necessary safety precautions in your shop. We will not accept liability for loss or damage to you or your shop. This website should not be used as a one stop shop for information, it is merely a starting point. Do your research before attempting the techniques I show you.

For my Customers

All work that comes out of my shop has a limited lifetime warranty unless otherwise stated in writing to you. Meaning if I complete the project start to finish and anything happens to it, outside of the customer's control, then I will repair or replace the item. If the item was not cared for as per our instructions then the warranty is voided. If you chose to finish the piece yourself then there is no warranty as I can not validate to how you finished the product and if it caused the item to fail. I will at a reasonable time make all repairs/ replacements. Reasonable time meaning if you are not in my locality then I have to schedule a time I can make it to your location. Warranty work will be scheduled around current shop time and will not automatically jump ahead of everything else.

For any questions concerning your warranty or for care instructions please contact us or visit our FAQs.

We believe in honesty, integrity, and morality. We will operate in such a manner that best puts those values first. we will not COMPROMISE our values or misrepresent ourselves or the companies that sponsor us.
